Dish This! Culinary Adventures.

Elizabeth Manville is a familiar face on the Canadian food scene, as a host of Food Network Canada’s series Cook Like a Chef and a contributing writer to Cityfood Magazine.
Her dishes have graced the pages of Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine, The Vancouver Sun, Vancouver Province, The Ottawa Citizen, The Cook like a Chef cookbook and Around the World in 80 Plates cookbook.

Liz spent over 13 years in the hotel and restaurant industries in New York City, Vancouver and Rome, Italy where she honed her skills in the esteemed dining rooms of the Hotel Plaza Athenee in New York, The Sutton Place Hotel,  The Raincity Grill and Jericho Tennis Club in Vancouver, and The Empress Room in Victoria.

She was top toque as the Official Chef for Canada’s diplomats in New York and Italy.
Liz learned the art of simplicity of ingredients, and "olive oil with everything" while cooking in Rome. She never underestimates the power of simply prepared, quality ingredients and credits her cooking style to her extensive travels and the four years she spent cooking in the “greatest city in the world”, New York.
As Sinatra sang: “If you can make it there, you can make it anywhere.”

Liz provides guidance to would-be chefs for everything from a roast-chicken-and-mashed
potatoes dinner to fine dining multi-course meals.
